Thick and Cheesy Bacon Ranch Fries
When ever I take the Groupie Wife to Charleston, we always have to stop by T-Bonz Steak House. Why? My wife is addicted to their Tommy Texas Cheese fries. And when I say addicted, I mean just that. We have had several interventions, but they usually turn into her convincing the rest of the family that we need to make a trip to Charleston. So we pile into the car for a road trip.
After spending thousands of dollars on gas and food, I decided to try my hand at making my own. This is an easy recipe! Throw it together on a Friday night, or when you just don’t want regular fries. This will impress your family and friends. You can thank me later.
Set List
1 Package Frozen Steak Cut Fries
1 Bottle of Ranch Dressing
2-4 Cups Shredded Cheese
Bacon Bits
Show Time
Cook the fries according to package instructions, minus 5 minutes.
When fries are done, remove them from the oven. Take another baking pan and coat the bottom liberally with ranch dressing, then take half of the fries and put in ranch covered pan.
Cover with more ranch, cheese and bacon bits.
Take the other half of the fries and add them on top. Again, cover liberally with ranch, cheese and bacon bits.
Go nuts with the ranch, cheese and bacon bits. You can never have too much!
Place the fries back into the oven and cook an additional 5-7 minutes.
Remove and let cool.
Serve as an appitizer or with hamburgers, hot dogs, steaks, or just eat them by themselves!
