Peanut Butter Fudge Pie by Our Life in the Kitchen

I am not a baker. I hate baking. I’ve heard it said that cooking is an art and baking is a science. I flunked science. But this recipe that you are about to read by the great Karen Bove of Our Life in the Kitchen, almost makes me want to bake…almost. Two of my favorite foods come together in this delectable dish: Peanut Butter and Pie.

Our Life in the Kitchen was one of the first foodie blogs I came across. Karen’s site, he recipes coupled with her sharp pictures, helped me make the leap into the blogging world. So it’s her fault. Be sure to go by her site and look her up on Facebook and tell her Rock Star Dad sent ya.

An oldie but goodie from the archives:

This one dates back to my days of copying recipes onto index cards, back in the dark ages before the internet when I’d check out stacks of cookbooks and magazines from the library and clip recipes from the newspaper. I don’t know the original source but it’s been a favorite here for many, many years. It’s rich and satisfying so a little slice goes a long way.

It’s easy but be sure to allow plenty of time for it to chill completely. It’s one to do a day ahead. Save a little time and effort by purchasing a pre-made crust if you like.
