Partying with Our Life In The Kitchen
Everyone loves a woman who can cook. I love a woman who can drink. My wife, while pregnant with our son, craved beer and cigarettes. (She did not partake in either, BTW.) The Groupie Wife used to HATE beer, but all that changed when Roadie #2 came along. Anyway, I’m getting long winded.
I recently saw an article on Our Life In The Kitchen’s website about Seagram’s Gingerale and bourbon. I’m not a big bourbon or whiskey drinker, especially during the hot summer months of South Carolina. My drink of choice on a hot humid day is a nice lager like Yuenglings. Something cool and crisp that’s going to going down smooth, like a silk stocking on a stripper. (Did I just say that?) But Karen (author of Our Life In The Kitchen) had a great cocktail recipe for these dog days of summer. Check it out. And be sure to go by her site and FB page. Tell her I said hi.
It’s Good To Be You With Seagram’s Ginger Ale
JUNE 26, 2012

There’s a lot to be said for getting older. Sure, youth has its advantages, but I wouldn’t trade a single one of them for the feeling of contentment that comes from being satisfied with your accomplishments, comfortable in your own skin, and happy with both where you are and where you’re headed. Truly, “It’s Good To Be You.”
Because a job well done deserves a celebration and because a life’s work doesn’t happen overnight, we have plenty of chances to celebrate each step of the way. Seagram’s Ginger Ale is the perfect way to raise a glass in celebration. Whether it’s simply a glass of cool and invigorating refreshment to help you relax after a task is completed or part of a round of cocktails with friends to toast that big promotion, Seagram’s Ginger Ale is there.
And what better way to celebrate than with friends? Tell a friend that “It’s Good To Be You.” Connect with others on the Seagram’s Ginger Ale Facebook page and celebrate your friends’ success with a virtual high-five by giving their Facebook photos a Good To Be You (GTBU) Photo Stamp with the GTBU Facebook app. And don’t be surprised if they return the favor and remind you of just how good it is to be you!
Ginger Ale is a classic, either straight up or as a cocktail mixer, and Seagram’s Ginger Ale is a tasty, caffeine-free treat in both regular and diet varieties.
In addition to traditional ginger ale, club soda and tonic water, look for Seagram’s terrific line of zero-calorie sparkling waters with a splash of natural fruit flavor. They’re perfect for light refreshment. Enjoy them straight up as a great way to cool off and refresh after a workout. Or mix them with your favorite wine and fruit for a delicious summery wine spritzer. It’ll be hard to choose just one of these refreshing flavors: Key Lime, Orange Citrus, Blackberry Raspberry and White Peach.
